Protecting human dignity: Help for victims of persecution and violence

The Center UEBERLEBEN aims to give refugees, migrants and victims of violence the chance to have a dignified future.

Under the umbrella organization Center UEBERLEBEN, the Berlin Center for Torture Victims, the Center for Migration and Refugee Services, the Ueberleben Foundation for Victims of Torture and the non-profit organization Catania work together to reach this goal.

10 YEARS OF GUANTANAMO:
Broken Laws, Broken Lives

As a member of Physicians for Human Rights bzfo co-founder Prof. Dr. Christian Pross assessed former detainees of Guantanomo. The findings of the medical and psychological evaluation have been published in 2008 (Physicians for Human Rights/USA "Broken Laws, Broken Lives. Medical Evidence of Torture by US Personell and its Impact").
